Vinisterra Vitivinícola

We are winemakers by vocation. We take care of every detail to achieve wines that proudly express the character of the land of Baja California.

Vinisterra Vitivinícola was born in 2002 from the friendship of Ensenada businessman Guillermo Rodriguez and winemaker Christoph Gaertner and their passion for wine and the land of the Ensenada Valleys.
We are a micro-production winery with 15 collaborators and we produce 50,000 bottles of wine per year, with deep respect for our land and our people, trying to express with pride the character of Baja California in our wine.
Our vineyards in the Valle de Santo Tomás and Valle de Guadalupe grow the grapes for our wines in a total area of 11 hectares.
Our winery is made of brick made from the soil of the village. We try to work with a minimal intervention oenology so that the wines from each of our plots express themselves in the purest way possible.
