Raw Oyster Bar ?…. where to start?

Maybe you knew them from their previous location in the Guadalupe Valley, but the pandemic did us the favor of bringing them closer to the city ??.

This Oyster Bar is a cool place from head to toe: its concept, its product and of course, its privileged location near the sea. The founding chef, Melissa Navarro was in charge of designing a very special menu, capable of surprising and delighting from the inexperienced to the most demanding palates. Since oysters are the star ingredient, you will be able to taste them in different fresh and hot presentations, with recipes that change according to the season.

Not to be missed: their iconic oyster burger (you can’t imagine what it tastes like until you try it and wonder why you didn’t do it before), the oyster stave (a sampler of all their prepared oysters), octopus chicharrón in mole, clam au gratin with pork belly and shrimp tostada.

To drink? Find wines from the region to pair with your dishes or try the delicious house drinks that you will love. Don’t miss the Sal y Conejo, a mezcal and tamarind-based drink that is wow!

Raw Oyster Bar offers a delicious breakfast menu, happy hour and one of the best lunch/dinners in Baja. You can find them at the entrance to Ensenada, in the Quintas Papagayo complex (yes! it’s sister business of @turistacafe, which we told you about in the previous post).
