Château Camou

Tradition, Bordeaux inspiration with a Mexican touch and great wines, of course we are talking about Château Camou.

Mr. Fernando Favela always had a taste for French wines and in 1993, he founded his own family winery and in 1995, they had their first vintage, which would mark the beginning of a great legacy.

Between family, this winery has been evolving and adapting the best of each generation, inspired by the old French tradition to produce wines with great body and at the same time, offer different lines and varieties capable of delighting the youngest palates and even the most experienced ones. This is where part of Château Camou’s success comes from: consistency, quality and variety.

Its iconic wine “The Great Red Wine”, the traditional Bordeaux blend, made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. French tradition par excellence but with a Mexican touch.

Winners of multiple medals throughout its existence as a brand, the most recent achievements have been its Merlot, with two double gold medals in Mexico Selection 2020 and Global Wines 2021.

A beautiful place that with its large expanse of vineyards make you appreciate the beauty of nature and artisanal production to the fullest. A must go place and of course, must drink wine. One last tip: don’t miss the pairing with truffles, olive oil and wine. You thank us later ?

Thanks to the Château Camou team for the attentions and to @yosoyciaomx for inviting us to take the tour with you ??.
