Alta Baja Cervecería

There was one thing in common that 5 people shared to make possible the creation of a great place and now, a community: the love for La Baja.

Alta Baja is the result of a family dream and a lot of work behind to materialize it, accompanied by the rich diversity brought by its 5 partners “from outside”. So you can find a little bit of Ecuador, Mazatlan, San Diego and Ensenada in this project.

They started with a small food truck called “Le Catrin” in a former location of the Double C Brewery (@cerveceriadoblec) and the project grew and adapted in such a way that it reached the Plaza Santo Tomás, with the name of Alta Baja, a brewery and restaurant that has become a must-visit place in the city.

A great variety of national and imported craft beer options, as well as their own labels: Pata salada, Rapala and Tiburón blanco, which are delicious. With the kitchen in charge of chef Héctor Villegas, who faced the challenge of taking “a brewery kitchen” to the next level, to make it special and memorable. And he has succeeded, you can see and taste the passion and care in every detail of the dishes.

In addition, they have a mixology menu capable of seducing even the most demanding and risky palates. A place that has it all: good drinks, good food and an exceptional atmosphere thanks to the warm space they have created surrounded by the historic cellars of Santo Tomás.
