Lomita, what started as a farmhouse and family vineyard, became one of the most important wineries in the country with international reach. Loving and respectful of their land, they promote totally artisanal processes, with the intention of preserving that touch of warmth that only handmade work can offer, as well as their amazing vertical winemaking process that works by gravity thanks to their architectural design that in turn, favors sustainability.

Surrounded by its organic vineyards and the beautiful scenery of the valley, with artwork everywhere by the talented muralist Jorge Tellaeche, on its walls and some labels, the whole experience is complemented by a sophisticated interior design with funky influences, which make this place very pleasant to enjoy the tasting of its excellent wines, either inside or on the terrace.

If we talk about Lomita, we can not fail to mention the most iconic: its flagship wine, Pagano. At the time, it broke all the rules in a traditionalist region, with a higher alcohol level than usual, 100% Grenache and even served in a square bottle. Intense in the mouth, with spicy and chocolate notes, this wine is unique and very special, and if you have not had the opportunity to try it, surely after surprising you, you will love it.

Sister winery of Finca La Carrodilla -another of the region’s favorites-, which pursues the same principles and values, that will be another good story to tell later.

We are very grateful to them for opening their doors to us and allowing us to get to know them better. And above all, thank you for raising the standard of Mexican wine.
